nagugutom na ko!!!

it's after 9 and i'm still here in the office. i just finished all the tasks that i can do for today and thought that i would just update this journal. hindi rin naman ako nagmamadali umuwi. gutom lang talaga ako.

i'm currently listening to my filipino colleague jayson talk to other people from manila. kakatawa sya, he's gay and nakakahawa ang tawa. ung tipong pag tumawa sya natatawa na rin kami ni carmela (isa pang pinay) kahit di namin alam kung ano pinagtatawanan nila. yosi buddy ko rin pala tong si jayson. he arrived yesterday and will be here for a week. dinalhan nya ko ng yosi kasi nga mahal ang marlboro lights dito.

parehong tumatumbling na ang sikmura namin sa gutom. wala rin naman kasing mabilhan ng pagkain dito malapit sa office pagsapit ng alas-otso. nauna na ung other pinoys, carmela and recia. tinapos ko kasi ung daily task ko na napagiwanan ng mga monthend tasks ko kanina.

my immediate superior here in hk is ella, the avp for finance. she's funny. malakas din tumawa. she's also very good at what she does. she's probably the most workaholic person here in controlling. she's also very patient with me. kahit papaulit ko sa kanya ung sinabi nya last month tungkol sa monthend task ok lang with her. probably because di rin nya naalala kung naexplain na nya sakin in the first place. medyo makakalimutin din kasi ang lola ko pagdating sa ganun. pero naalala pa nya if i missed to pass an entry or ung mga events the previous month. cguro selective lang ang memory nya. never din sya nagalit sakin even if i make mistakes lalo na sa journal entries. papaulit lang nya sakin hehe

nagugutom na talaga ko. kakainin na nung large intestine ung small intestine ko. meron dito apple and pear, pero di naman ako kumakain nun.

kakasimula lang ng meeting ni jayson with indonesia. syempre kinilig ang lolo ko nung kausap na nya ung cutie na controller ng indo. pinakita ko kasi picture sa friendster (o di ba pati mga indonesians may friendster)

anong oras kaya matatapos tong si jayson? one hour pa ata tong meeting. i don't think my hunger can last that long.

sumilip ako sa controlling andun pa sila, mga locals. they usually work long hours at monthend. kami ring mga pinoy actually. but ella would let me go home early lalo na if pwede ko naman ipagpabukas ung task. last week nga she was so concerned coz i look sick. i just told her that i have headaches in the afternoon and i need to have my eyes checked.

gutom jones na ko talaga. kumukulo na tyan ko o

anyway, i'm excited. less than two weeks na lang uuwi na ko. i have already got my form signed by the director. i need my manager in manila to sign it, then they would book my tickets. medyo mahabang proseso but i'm not complaining. hk would shoulder the cost anyway.

it seems like they wanted us to stay for the rest of the year. fine with me, as long as they take care of my taxes. they should also let me go home early december, for papa's 50th bday. syempre, gusto ko rin magpasko sa pinas.

i'm getting used to hk. dati nung sinabi nilang 6 more months pa ko dito nabad trip ako talaga. sabi ko ayaw ko na sa bansang to. pero ngayon ok na. naka-adjust na rin ako. i have also made friends, thanks to PHK!

i discovered PHK by accident. surf surf lang sa net. then i posted. and posted. and posted. now i have posted more than 800 entries in that forum. addict.

PHKers are cool! as in! i really felt at home there. even if i'm busy doing monthend tasks di ko pa rin mapigilan ang sarili ko ng sumilip sa forum at magpost kung nakakarelate ako sa topic.
