after a long time, im updating this again... with reason, i have a new fave movie... RENT

i love musicals. i enjoyed it. i fell in love with moulin rouge the first time i saw it, and i watch it every new year haha while waiting for midnight

thanks menen, for inviting me. thanks also dino, jigs, and gay for the fun time last night. i would have refused, but heck im so bored in the dormitory that i have to get out of there. i took the lrt and mrt by myself and walked all the way to greenbelt powerbooks. only when i get there, we have to walk all the way back to g4 to eat dinner. talk about wearing out my shoes.

hell, it's all worth the walk and the wait (we studied at coffee bean and tea leaf while waiting for the movie). i love RENT. the songs they sang are mostly rock and r&b. i love rock songs so i really enjoyed their songs.

the blue text at the beginning of this entry are the first few lines of the song SEASONS of LOVE. i heard it being sung live when we went to jigs' concert with the DLSU pops orchestra last february. it was jigs' fave song in rent. i was seated next to him last night, and i hear him sing with the cast. i dont mind, though, jigs is a great singer.

i also loved story. i had NO idea that they have issues on AIDS and same-sex relationships there. i had goosebumps when this gay guy named angel died, not only because he was my fave character, but well, i hate it when someone dies in a movie (except in horror flicks of course)

if given the chance, i would watch the live version. hope they stage another one. i dont even mind the philippine cast

just watched american idol when i got home last night. i love chris daughtry, but he doesnt sound good last night. it was like an imitation of creed. but he acknowledged the band LIVE last night. good for him. gotta admit, you have to love rockers. but nothing would ever replace my CONSTANTINE (have i mentioned i saw him last november when he performed at the alabang town center? i have a quiz the next day but i studied early so i can go see him. he's greek hotness! hehe)

anyway, i gotta go now. have to study income tax. go back to dumbsville
